About Colonia Kennedy

Colonia Kennedy is one of Tegucigalpa's largest and most populous residential districts, a working- and middle-class colonia with high housing density, busy commercial strips, schools, and a major public market. Its scale and steady demand make it the capital's top yield neighborhood, with gross returns of roughly 7-10%. For income investors it is the value play: apartments and homes range from about US$90,000 to US$200,000, and the combination of low entry prices and strong rental demand produces the highest gross yields in Tegucigalpa. Capital appreciation is modest and tenant turnover higher than the premium hills, so the strategy is volume cash flow rather than trophy growth. As with all mainland purchases, lempira currency exposure applies.
